FEDAN specializes in installation of non-water fire suppression system that use aerosol as main extinguishing agent which is many times more effective than gaseous or other conventional extinguishing agents. An aerosol powder consists of very fine solid particles, suspended in a gas (example rain clouds/ cigarette smoke).

This acts similar to gas, so it will expand volumetrically and reach even the most difficult places (perfect for rooms, buildings closed compartments etc.) For fire to occur three things must be present: Oxygen, Fuel and heat. The system works by absorbing heat energy thus extinguishing fire. Only a very small amount is needed to extinguish any class of fire such as class A, B, C and F fires (according to EN2) and class A, B, C and K fires (according to NFPA).

The automatic suppression system combines the unique technology of Aerosol generators with the high quality fire panels and accessories of labor and Strauss. Our highly trained engineers designs a complete system for our clients which will include a combination of sensors, aerosol generators, other components, and a highly sophisticated fire detection system for early detection, thus giving the customer the chance to prevent many unnecessary damage. If fire does occur then the automatic system will effectively extinguish it. The system can be incorporated into the Integrated Building Management System (IBMS)
